What is a Denture?

A denture is a removable appliance that is used to replace missing teeth and blends in with the gums and surrounding tissues. Dentures can help with situations such as the sagging of facial muscles, speech troubles and eating difficulties; all due to the lack of teeth.

What is it like to get your dentures at our office?

Here at NYC dental pro we make it easier and comfortable navigating our patients through the process. Any remaining dental treatment (if required) including gum surgery, extraction(s) are completed and allowed for full recovery. The dentist then starts with recording the impression of the jaw(s). After taking an impression of the arch, the model is sent out to a dental laboratory, which will create the denture. The patient is required to come into the office for each sequential step such as the wax trial and the denture bite. Finally, the denture is delivered to the patient and is inserted into the mouth.
